Tales of the Math Phobic
by Janet A. Skulina, Ed. D.

The Tales of the Math Phobic are a serial look at the issues that confront teachers who enjoy teaching mathematics AND those that find it frustrating and perhaps at times overwhelming. The tales are intended to be a humorous reflection on the issues facing math teachers today.

The Tales are written by Dr. Janet Skulina, Special Education Program Specialist with the Tracey California Unified School District. Janet is herself an admitted math phobic and writes for Fulcrum because she believes children can learn math if taught in an engaging manner. Look for new episodes on a regular basis.
