Lesson Plans

The purpose of the lesson plans is to offer replacement or alternative lessons that can be used to introduce or extend lessons presently used by teachers. Overall, the lessons are intended to help teachers solve the “math puzzle” and focus increasing math fluency and mathematical thinking. The lesson plans are provided several formats for easy downloading and use.

Individual lessons address one specific learning target that is aligned with NCTM and frequently used state standards. While grade levels are suggested, teachers are encouraged to adapt and adjust the lesson to the learning level of their students.
